Holly Louise Hurdis Wells Thomas,63, passed away Friday, December 26,2014 in Arlington. Holly Louise Hurdis Wells Thomas was born December 17, 1951 in Paterson, New Jersey to Everett Cushing Hurdis and Marion Elsie Smith Hurdis. Memorial Service: 10am Friday at Moore Funeral Home. Memorials: Charity of choice. Holly loved children, animals and anyone in need. Holly was a librarian by profession, but taking care of her family was always her highest priority. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Rachel Elizabeth Wells. Survivors: Loving husband, Sam Douglas Thomas; daughter, Claire Ann Thomas; son, James Everett Wells and wife Katy; granddaughters, Whitney and Wylie Wells; sisters, Helen Grant, Cynthia Gentile and Sara Filler. "Their grief is in proportion to their affection, and they know their loss to be irreparable."
